An invitation to explore memory and time through contemporary art in La Sarraz from April 5 to November 1, 2025.

From April 5 to November 1, 2025, the town of La Sarraz will host a unique exhibition titled Disappearance and Remembrance, dedicated to the artist Étienne Krähenbühl. In collaboration with the Castle of La Sarraz and La Filature (cultural center), this interdisciplinary event will create a new dialogue between contemporary art and history. The exhibition will be held at several iconic locations: the Castle of La Sarraz, La Filature, as well as in public and private spaces around the town. Dozens of sculptures and installations will be integrated into sites with a rich historical heritage, offering an immersive experience into the artist’s world while questioning the memory of these places.
