On October 24 and 25, 2026, the Muotitaler Alpine Cheese Market will be held for the 30th time.

The Muotitaler Alpchäsmärcht is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Come on by and experience an anniversary celebration that’s truly something special.

Live concert by the Genderbüebu: The stars of the Swiss folk music scene are traveling all the way from Valais to rock our festival tent. Sing-alongs, dancing, and partying are guaranteed.
Includes a snack platter: The ticket price includes a delicious snack platter featuring local specialties, served right at your table.

In addition to alpine cheese, goat and sheep cheeses as well as other cheese specialties will be available for tasting and purchase.

A big raffle with instant prizes worth over CHF 20,000 also awaits guests! Several food stands and barbecue stalls will be on hand to keep you well-fed.
Early risers can enjoy the culinary delights of the Muotathal valley over brunch on Sunday morning.
