Experience genuine Valais Alpine tradition from then and now!

The annual Great Alpine Festival begins with an invigorating open-air mass, accompanied by music from a yodeling club.

Another highlight of the day is the large parade with various formations and magnificently decorated floats on the themes of tradition, modernity, culture and contemporary life on the alp.

This is followed by atmospheric entertainment from the clubs with country music, yodelling, traditional costumes and dancing, as well as the traditional stone throwing competition.
