August 1st celebration on Fronwagplatz with Federal Councillor Beat Jans, Mayor Peter Neukomm and the Munot Dixie Stompers

A 1st of August celebration will also be held on Fronwagplatz in Schaffhausen on this year's national holiday. Federal Councillor Beat Jans, Head of the Federal Department of Justice and Police, will be giving the speech. The Munot Dixie Stompers will provide the musical accompaniment. The ceremony will be opened by Mayor Peter Neukomm.

10.00 a.m. Opening of the festival restaurant
11.00 a.m. Welcome address by Mayor Peter Neukomm
11.10 a.m. Speech by Beat Jans, Federal Councillor
followed by joint singing of the national anthem
accompanied by the Munot Dixie Stompers
12.00 p.m. Concert by the Munot Dixie Stompers
14.00 Closing of the event

In case of bad weather, the ceremony will take place in the St. Johann church.
