The artistic residency project

This was an off-site stay in a foreign country (Portugal), in a crowded collective living space requiring good group cohesion, communication and the ability to work as a team. The artistic residency enabled each beneficiary to develop a creation under the guidance of the support staff.

Group composition: 2 accompanying adults, 6 participants

Artistic mediums: writing (travel journal, life story), sketching, painting, sculpture, mixed media, illustration, photography.

Vernissage and round-table discussion

Opening on Wednesday, May 7, from 5pm. Aperitif offered. Round-table discussion at 6pm on the possibilities offered by creative practices with a vulnerable public in an out-of-the-ordinary environment, in this case on a sailboat. The speakers will explain their approach and present their respective experiences. We'll finish with an hour-long discussion and exchange.
