Themed tour: Sustainable Solothurn
Solothurn Tourismus, Solothurn
Discover sustainability in Solothurn! A city walk to places where responsible action becomes visible, tangible, and truly inspiring.
Sustainability - a big word, but one that's truly lived in Solothurn. But what does it actually mean for each of us? This unique city tour takes you to places where responsible action is more than just a buzzword - it's a way of life.
From a hotel run as a cooperative and an organic shop founded back in 1979 to inclusive projects like the Heimart-Lädeli or a restaurant with a remarkable team - you'll encounter people committed to ecological, social and economic sustainability.
The tour also looks back: How were buildings constructed in the past? Where did the electricity come from? How was water used? From Zeughausplatz to the Aare, from historic markets to second-hand fashion, Solothurn shows how tradition and modern conscious living go hand in hand.
Curious? Then join us on an inspiring walk through the city - full of stories, ideas and forward-looking projects.
