Switzerland celebrates its birthday on August 1. On Stoos, the party starts on July 31 and continues from the afternoon into the evening. Relaxed, atmospheric and in the middle of the mountains.

Stoosplatz becomes a meeting place for enjoyment, encounters and living tradition. The village festival brings people together: Locals, guests and everyone who appreciates genuine mountain moments. A relaxed festival with musical entertainment ranging from traditional to modern creates the right atmosphere. Sometimes a Schwyzerörgeli, sometimes a band. The main thing is good vibes.

A special moment is the speech by National Councillor Heinz Theiler, accompanied by the sound of alphorns and flag-waving, a moment to listen, pause and enjoy.

As dusk falls, the mountain magic takes over. The lantern procession lights up children's eyes and the bonfire bathes the night in warm light.
