Screening and Panel Discussion: The Ship of Tolerance
Kino Gotthard, Zug
Film screening and panel discussion: The Ship of Tolerance – with Remo Hegglin (filmmaker), Sandra Winiger (art educator), and Mia Jenni (project manager).
In 2016, the participatory large-scale project “The Ship of Tolerance” by Ilya & Emilia Kabakov was realised on Lake Zug in collaboration with Kunsthaus Zug. This extraordinary undertaking was documented by Zug-based filmmaker Remo Hegglin. With a film screening followed by a discussion with Sandra Winiger, former Head of Art Education and co-curator of the major project, we look back on this collaboration and its significance for Zug’s art scene.
