The Aussersihl neighborhood center on the Bäckeranlage is a lively meeting place for the residents of the neighborhood. Residents of all ages, interests and backgrounds meet here. The in-house team supports initiatives from the neighborhood that promote coexistence, exchange and the social network.

"The park in the Bäckeranlage is a jewel. It's used by everyone in the neighborhood for lounging, chatting, picnicking and drinking coffee. In summer, you feel like you're part of a larger whole there and can enjoy a pleasant herd feeling. There is also a sandpit, merry-go-round, Ritigampfi and a pool as well as a play wagon for the children, which is looked after by the lovely Gabi."
