The white church
La Blanche Eglise, La Neuveville
Church 9th
Most ancient monument of La Neuveville, the right date of its construction is not known, but it has been mentionned in 866 in a charter of Lothaire II King of Lorraine under the name of Capella sancti Ursicini Nugerolis. Renovated and enlarged thanks to an extension of the nave and the construction of the choir, it was blessed by the Bishop of Basle in 1345.
In 1530, the reformation was passed and the old frescos were covered with a coating. From 1984 to 1988 took place the last significant restoration as well as archaeological excavations.
