The yodelling festival on Alp Bachläger above Grindelwald is a summer highlight with a breathtaking mountain backdrop.

The Bachlägerchilbi takes place on the first Sunday in July. The Chilbi begins at 09.00 a.m. with a hearty alpine breakfast. This is followed by the mountain church service with baptism. Throughout the day, there will be a festival restaurant serving a wide variety of food and drinks. There is something sweet for everyone at the large dessert buffet.
Musical entertainment will be provided by a guest club and a folk band. A number of songs and jutze are also performed.

The Bachlägerchilbi can be reached as follows:
Train: The Firstbahn takes you to First, from where an approx. 30-minute hiking trail leads to the Bachläger.
Bus: The bus runs from Grindelwald (Bärplatz) directly to Bachläger. Departures: 08.55, 10.45 and 14.00 / Return journeys: 11.20, 14.45 and 16.45.
