Artist Talk with Noemi Pfister and Diego Kohli

The group exhibition "My Protagonists", curated by Simone Neuenschwander, focuses on figurative art, which has been in the spotlight since modernism and especially since the 1980s. Far removed from idealized representations, the bodies often appear distorted, exaggerated or placed in absurd contexts. They mirror the contradictions of the present and reflect the tensions between individuality and society. The communication between the figures as well as their visual contact with the viewer is the focus of attention. How are these communications reflected in the works of a young generation of artists?
