SIDE BY SIDE: From September 5–14, 2025, the Design Biennale Zürich celebrates its fifth edition, transforming the Old Botanical Garden into a place of gathering, exchange, and interaction.

The Design Biennale Zürich makes design tangible and engages all the senses. At the heart of this anniversary edition are eleven visionary design projects and installations exploring the interplay between society, materials, and technology. They invite discovery and provoke thought. The Design Biennale Zürich addresses a broad audience and includes all areas of design: game, interaction design, fashion, product, scenography, textile, and visual communication. Guided tours, performances, and kids’ workshops complement the free exhibition.
