A Colorful Carnival Parade and a Cool Party

The Thaynger Carnival is one of the largest carnivals in the region. It kicks off on Ash Wednesday with a children’s carnival, continues on Thursday with a traditional party called the Hemdglunggi, and culminates on Saturday with a grand parade and a lively party, marking the highlight of the “fifth season.”
