Mid-August is a traditional celebration in Veysonnaz. Whether the weather is fine or grey, the inhabitants get together to share an entertaining evening in the streets of the village.

In addition to being a welcoming village, Veysonnaz is above all a village with its very own social life. Social life also means local associations: football, singing, skiing, gym and youth clubs. The inhabitants of the hamlets of Clèbes and Verrey also participate actively in these associations and everybody gathers for the occasion and puts together a fabulous fun and friendly evening where all generations come together.

Food stalls are set up in the old quarters of the village. The very inventive organizing committee proposes each year a theme and an entertainment program giving a very special touch to the festivities !

At the end of the afternoon, the Assumption church service is led by the Sainte-Cécile choir. Then it's time for the party! Everyone is welcome !
