After more than 100 years, the Swiss National Yodeling Festival is returning to Basel. As the main sponsor, we’re looking forward to a fantastic festival! We’re bringing the tradition of yodeling to life in exciting ways and reviving folk customs for all generations.
BKB Yodeling Workshop: Want to try yodeling? Join us as we dive into the fascinating world of yodeling and discover a vibrant Swiss tradition up close. In our workshops, we’ll teach you the basics in a fun way, share interesting background stories, and, above all, help you experience the joy of singing together. Everyone is encouraged to join in—no prior experience needed!

Flag-waving with Boss: Don’t just watch—give it a try yourself! Under the guidance of our expert Konrad Boss, we’ll teach you the basic moves and patterns—surprisingly exciting, rhythmic, and a lot of fun.
Flag-waving takes place between the BKB yodeling workshops every hour on the hour at the BKB meeting point in the Yodeling Village on Petersplatz.
