Painting has always been with me, sometimes more, sometimes less intensively. It has been an important part of my life since 2010 and I have been working as a freelance artist since 2019.

I am versatile when it comes to my themes and techniques. In addition to cities, landscapes and many other things, it is always THE PEOPLE who fascinate me with all their facets.  I also paint portraits from time to time.
I love to paint my pictures mostly abstract-realistically, so they are open to the stories and interpretations of the viewer, whether people or cities or....
The cities with their people usually represent large cities that we Swiss only know from abroad, and so they are often a piece of wanderlust for the viewer.
I love to create my cities in an abstract-realistic way and to have all the freedom I want.

I mainly work with acrylics/mixed media and occasionally with oil. My paintings are created in many layers and my tools are mostly color shapers and painting knives, I need relatively few brushes.
In my studio I pass on my knowledge and experience in painting courses, painting events and workshops.
