Cantonal Festival – northwestern Switzerland
The Cantonal Festival – a unique event that celebrates the traditions and cultural diversity of a Swiss region in all its facets – will be held on our cultural stage (opposite the Degen restaurant). This year, the focus is on Northwestern Switzerland. Visitors can look forward to authentic folk music and traditional dancing that characterise the region, as well as delicious culinary specialities. Experience a lively meeting place full of social encounters, cultural diversity and atmospheric performances. The detailed programme will be published later in the season.


Autumn Market
All types of homemade and artisan craft products are available to buy at the Ballenberg Museum‘s Autumn Market. Numerous craftsmen and women present superb products such as apple fritters, natural cosmetics and much more in the museum section East Midlands. There will also be numerous craft demonstrations. Highlights are the cider press in the barn from Meggen, Lucerne (752) and the "schnaps" distillery in operation.
