Hand organ / Schwyzerörgeli
Music pavilion: Hurrlibus
Musikpavillon am Nationalquai, Lucerne
The three musicians of Hurrlibus play spirited Central Swiss folk music with violin, Schwyzerörgeli, Halszither and groovy double bass - for dancing, listening and amazement.
The three musicians of "Hurrlibus" play spirited violin and organ music. They unearth rarely heard and better-known folk music treasures. Central Swiss music is one of their main focuses. Schwyzerörgeli and violin alternate again and again in the melody line. The driving double bass gives the dances a particularly groovy swing. As an additional enrichment, the Kriens and Emmental neck zither are used and allow "Hurrlibus" to mutate into a plucked string orchestra from time to time.
