"Children in the legion camp": fun and games for the whole family.

The Vindonissa Legionary Trail is transformed into a Roman-Celtic army camp for a weekend. Over 100 participants from Switzerland and abroad offer an authentic spectacle.
Thrilling show battles between Romans and Celts can be seen. Walk-through legionary camps and Celtic and Germanic settlements invite visitors to explore. Blacksmiths make swords over the fire and bow makers demonstrate their craftsmanship. Delicacies from that time are cooked over the fire. Guns and projectiles are also demonstrated. A market offers unique souvenirs for fans young and old.

A shuttle bus connects the military camp in Windisch with the Vindonissa Museum in Brugg, which is open all day. The museum also offers guided tours and interactive game tours.
