In this one-day course, you will learn everything you need for your first via ferrata tours - from the right equipment to safe movement on the steel rope. Perfect for anyone who wants to embark on an alpine adventure without any prior knowledge.

This via ferrata course is ideal for anyone who wants to take their first steps safely and enjoyably on the iron path. After a short theoretical introduction to equipment, difficulty ratings and tour planning, we head straight into the terrain. We practise how to clip in correctly, how to climb efficiently and how to deal with difficult passages - all under real conditions and with plenty of practice.

Technical training on the practice route

Requirements
You don't need any previous experience, but you should be sporty and not afraid of heights.

Helmet (climbing or bike helmet)
Via ferrata set
Climbing harness
Clothing suitable for the weather
Trekking or hiking boots
Possibly thin gloves (against abrasion)
Sunglasses & sun cream
Lunch & drinks for on the way
Public transport ticket (half-fare/GA, if available)

What happens if the weather is bad?
We check the weather conditions in good time and inform you 2-3 days before the course. If necessary, we will make alternative arrangements or offer you a rescheduled date.

What if I don't have time on the alternative date?
In this case we will refund the course fee. Please send us your IBAN, name and address by e-mail.
