Cheese-making show
Watch the alpine team making cheese over a wood fire and learn lots of interesting facts about life on the alp. Various types of pure goat's cheese are made with love and dedication under traditional conditions. The alp team will be happy to answer your questions in German, French, Italian or English. You can of course taste and buy cheese and other dairy products during the cheese-making show.

Location: Alpe Hannig, lower hut, Saas-Fee

Registration: by 7:00 p.m. the evening before
Cheese tasting prices: Adults CHF 24.-, with SaastalCard CHF 22.- | Children CHF 8.- , with SaastalCard CHF 7.-

Goat sponsorships:
We are happy about every goat sponsorship to support the alpine farm Alpe Hannig: You choose your ‘sponsored goat’ yourself and visit it on the alp at your own discretion and look over the shoulders of the alp team (milking, herding, driving, etc.). In doing so, you support the Alpe Hannig in its continued existence and make a great contribution to sustainable and environmentally friendly alpine farming. As a gift, you will receive a piece of cheese from the alp and a certificate. Sponsorship is possible at any time, i.e. during the entire alpine season.
